Kids Art Camp 2026

Join Brush it Off Seattle for a fun week of art!

That time of year is here again to find the best summer camp for your kids. After a very successful season last summer with our Teen Art Camp, we are offering another camp designed for younger kids. Welcome to our Kids Art Camp that will happen this coming July! The perfect time to register is now! Pay $50 now for a deposit to hold your spot. The remaining registration fee will be $300

Two sessions available: July 13 -17, or July 20 - 24. Camp will run from 10am-2pm each day.

In our cozy pottery studio in South Seattle, we will explore various multimedia art projects together over the course of the week. Our background is in pottery painting, which will be the main focus of the camp. We will also utilize our expert painter's skills for work with canvas, and other materials. On the last day of camp we will have an art show for friends and family who would like to see the beautiful art work your child will have done!

Children from 8 - 12 welcome; no prior experience, lessons, or skills needed! Everyone can be an artist, and this week is all about exploring your inner creativity. While we will have specific projects, we will also have times where artists can choose their own pieces to work on, and we always encourage everyone to work at their own level and pace. Our class size will be a maximum of 14, and we will have 2 instructors.

Art Concepts Covered:

• Basics of building with clay
• Pottery painting technique
• Slip casting
• Painting on canvas with acrylic paints
• Making pins with air-dry clay
• And other activities especially prepared for your child to express themselves

We are lucky to have our own beautiful studio space, as well as a large outdoor area if artists would prefer to spend time working in the sunshine for inspiration. We will provide all materials needed; all that artists will need to bring is a lunch, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes for creating in. At the end of the week, they will bring home multiple pottery pieces (including one they hand-built from clay), a canvas painting, a hand built air-dry pin, and more.
